Forum convenes to discuss Tibet
(Xinhua) More than 100 delegates from within the People's Republic of China (PRC) and abroad gathered in Beijing for the first ‘China Tibetan Culture Forum’. The meeting, it is claimed, will focus on preserving and developing Tibetan Culture. A briefing by the China Association for Preservation and Development of Tibet Culture outlined the aims of the Forum. More than 100 scholars on Tibetan studies from 11 countries including the US, the UK, and India are attending.
