Dalai Lama receives Key of NYC
New York 's mayor, Michael Bloomberg, presented the key to the city to the Dalai Lama on the midtown site of what will eventually be the Daniel Patrick Moynihan Station. Earlier, the Dalai Lama was presented with an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree at Rutgers University where he also delivered a teaching to a crowd of 36,000.
