Tight security for Dalai Lama's Andhra Pradesh visit
(IANS) Police in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh are preparing special security arrangements for the Dalai Lama during his visit next month following intelligence reports that the Tibetan leader faces a serious threat to his life. The names and photographs of seven people from Tibet and China suspected of conspiring to attack him have been sent to the police. Unconfirmed reports state that the seven are followers of the Dorje Shugden cult which is discouraged by the Dalai Lama.
